Quite frankly, I love taking photos of children, because I envy the fact that they live carefree and have such an innocence to them.
Little Sophia Laurel(not so little anymore) came back for another photo session and I was so in awe of how much she’s grown since I have seen her last. Of course, she has great style because her momma dresses her and makes her look quite chic. I was surprised though at how much she liked to run around, explore and play with DIRT! Sophia! It’s all good, because today was a day for her to be one with nature and she was! Looking forward to many more sessions with her again.
Sophia is now 5! Sophia is now 5! SOPHIA IS 5?!?! Really? Where did the time go? She lost a tooth and now she is 5, what is going on? Well, we took some fun shots of her for her 5th birthday, just so she can express her personality and what she is currently into. Don’t mind some of her expressions and poses, I let her just go with the flow because every time I tried to pose her, well, she just did her own thing, and what better way to capture someone then actually just letting them be. Not every hair is in perfect place, not every wrinkle is straightened out and not every pose is perfect, but that’s OK, because this is real life and this is who she is and this is who I LOVE HER as and why I LOVE HER so. Leave it to Soph to keep it real! <3 This is who she is, this is what she loves, and that’s what I am going to love about her!
Happy 5th Birthday to my courageous little ninja turtle power girl! COWABUNGA DUDES and DUDETTES! sorry no booyakasha here…let’s keep it old school. 🙂
Wow! Holy cow! Am I getting old or what?! I mean this is my second child and now she’s lost her first tooth and I have simply lost my mind. This is a milestone event and honestly I can’t deal with any more milestones because now I am at the time where they are becoming few and far between. Any little thing to me is a crying event while my husband just looks at me and shakes his head. Comments come from him, like, “she’s got more teeth” or “we have another child”. No hun! It doesn’t work that way! These are my babies and they are growing up, can’t you see that?!
Well, cheers to her and her first lost tooth. I wish I had a video of when it happened so you can all hear me belt out a slow motion “Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!”, while she giggled and stared at me with the excitement of having lost her first tooth.
A new family! They were so cute! These 3 kiddos are so sweet and funny. The weather was especially nice this day and we were able to get some really great images. It’s a good feeling when you like what you do and you like who you meet. Thank you for your time and I look forward to seeing you all again!
Lyndsey, Matt and Chloe, I was so happy when I heard from you again. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your families lives in capturing special moments of your child and of course as you all as a wonderful family. Of course you know that I look forward to seeing you again and I can’t wait to see Chloe’s adorable face as she smiles and/or shies away from the camera. Have a wonderful holiday season, best of wishes to you all!
These two have a beautiful baby girl together and they enjoy every moment with each other, you can sense their appreciation for each other which is a wonderful feeling. It was a frigid Fall day and we snapped away what we could with a break in between for the little one to get warmed up, but we did get some images of the family together enjoying each other.
Newborn time! I was so happy to see this family again, thanks to a close friend of mine. This session was all about capturing some images of baby Amelia(I love that name) and getting in some shots of her brother, Lucas and her.
I was able to snap a few shots as he played, read a book to his sister and gave her the tiniest of kisses. What a pleasure!
