It amazes me how time quickly passes, but what’s wonderful is the fact that we get to experience beautiful milestones during the time we have no matter how quickly it passes. In a beautiful dress and adorning a beautiful smile, she shines bright for her parents and family to be so proud of her. I know her day was just as wonderful as she looked on her First Communion day. May she always be blessed!
Anyone who truly knows me would know that when my friends and family are happy, I am truly happy. In some cases, I feel like I am happier more than they are at the time of their happiness. The sheer joy that I feel for someone else’s happiness brings me to tears at times. I know, I know I am using the word “happiness” a lot! Well, I am grateful for wonderful friends and growing families. It’s amazing to be a part of someone’s life and share in such momentous and celebratory occasions.
It’s a little nerve racking when you have to do a large family portrait because you never know what to expect and how everything will ultimately turn out.
The fact that I was with some familiar faces and that everyone was so laid back and comfortable put me at ease. I am glad that I had the opportunity to work with all these individuals in the images below. It’s always great to see familiar faces and meet new people as well. Can’t forget the little cutie pie in these pictures! All the best to this awesome family.
Sophia is now 5! Sophia is now 5! SOPHIA IS 5?!?! Really? Where did the time go? She lost a tooth and now she is 5, what is going on? Well, we took some fun shots of her for her 5th birthday, just so she can express her personality and what she is currently into. Don’t mind some of her expressions and poses, I let her just go with the flow because every time I tried to pose her, well, she just did her own thing, and what better way to capture someone then actually just letting them be. Not every hair is in perfect place, not every wrinkle is straightened out and not every pose is perfect, but that’s OK, because this is real life and this is who she is and this is who I LOVE HER as and why I LOVE HER so. Leave it to Soph to keep it real! <3 This is who she is, this is what she loves, and that’s what I am going to love about her!
Happy 5th Birthday to my courageous little ninja turtle power girl! COWABUNGA DUDES and DUDETTES! sorry no booyakasha here…let’s keep it old school. 🙂
Wow! Holy cow! Am I getting old or what?! I mean this is my second child and now she’s lost her first tooth and I have simply lost my mind. This is a milestone event and honestly I can’t deal with any more milestones because now I am at the time where they are becoming few and far between. Any little thing to me is a crying event while my husband just looks at me and shakes his head. Comments come from him, like, “she’s got more teeth” or “we have another child”. No hun! It doesn’t work that way! These are my babies and they are growing up, can’t you see that?!
Well, cheers to her and her first lost tooth. I wish I had a video of when it happened so you can all hear me belt out a slow motion “Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!”, while she giggled and stared at me with the excitement of having lost her first tooth.
Well, I am ready for 2015 and I have been, but I just haven’t posted here so quickly this new year. Either way, let’s do this together!
Let me be a part of your everyday because we all know it, life is not PERFECT, so what better way to celebrate it than by documenting our REAL life. Looks take the opportunity to have the chance to look back and remember all that really takes place.
We are not always well put together, but that’s what makes it fun. When we have creativity, fun, happiness and love, that’s all that matters, now we just need to capture that with a CLICK!
Whether it be fort building, funny faces, baking, play-dates, a day trip, etc…let those moments be captured.
Here’s a little taste of my everyday, but I am waiting for you to allow me to be a part of yours.
FYI: I plan on being on the other side of the camera too this year. 🙂
Each little face in front of my camera this year has brought me a tremendous amount of joy and I am so excited to see those faces and new faces again this year, 2015.
To all the parents, thank you for letting me capture your children’s expressions and precious moments.
Here are just some of the cute little faces I was able to photograph this year, in no particular order.
A new family! They were so cute! These 3 kiddos are so sweet and funny. The weather was especially nice this day and we were able to get some really great images. It’s a good feeling when you like what you do and you like who you meet. Thank you for your time and I look forward to seeing you all again!
