A magical 1st birthday photo session for a magical little girl.
Anyone who truly knows me would know that when my friends and family are happy, I am truly happy. In some cases, I feel like I am happier more than they are at the time of their happiness. The sheer joy that I feel for someone else’s happiness brings me to tears at times. I know, I know I am using the word “happiness” a lot! Well, I am grateful for wonderful friends and growing families. It’s amazing to be a part of someone’s life and share in such momentous and celebratory occasions.
Another year gone by and another year older! That went by super quick, feels like just yesterday I was taking Ninja Turtle themed photos of her.
Well, this year she wanted to dive right into SUPER HERO action. She wanted a mask, a cape and some kicks to go with it. We hit the streets caped crusader style to take these photos and she absolutely had a BLAST, if you can’t tell by her facial expressions. With a WHAM! POW! KABOOM! we finished these pictures up in FLASH! It was hard to pick which images to post because I truly loved them all due to her energy.
She is honestly ALL the things I LOVE wrapped into a tiny bundle. I can’t wait to see what SUPER amazing stuff she will do in life.
Happy SUPER 6th Birthday, Sophia! I hope you had a blast.

Quite a bit over due, but here’s a 3 year old that’s growing up ever so quickly! I can not believe she is 3 and don’t even want to believe it. Once my sweet little child, now my sweet little growing child of which I do not want to let grow. It’s amazing how much they know at this age, how much of a vocabulary they have and how well they can communicate with you. It’s also amazing how easily they can melt your heart, either by words, actions or just being. Emotions run deep in this home and with 3 girls I am sure there will be plenty emotions running about around the 1 man standing in this house.
Little Leanna, you are my joy, you make me smile and laugh and you definitely make my heart sing. I can’t believe you are 3, it feels as though just yesterday I was holding you in my arms in the hospital bed. Slow down for me my little one. I want to soak in all the time I can possibly have with you.
She asked to take photos with her Umi-Zoomi figures, so we did!
Happy 3rd Birthday! I hope it was Umi-riffic!
Sophia is now 5! Sophia is now 5! SOPHIA IS 5?!?! Really? Where did the time go? She lost a tooth and now she is 5, what is going on? Well, we took some fun shots of her for her 5th birthday, just so she can express her personality and what she is currently into. Don’t mind some of her expressions and poses, I let her just go with the flow because every time I tried to pose her, well, she just did her own thing, and what better way to capture someone then actually just letting them be. Not every hair is in perfect place, not every wrinkle is straightened out and not every pose is perfect, but that’s OK, because this is real life and this is who she is and this is who I LOVE HER as and why I LOVE HER so. Leave it to Soph to keep it real! <3 This is who she is, this is what she loves, and that’s what I am going to love about her!
Happy 5th Birthday to my courageous little ninja turtle power girl! COWABUNGA DUDES and DUDETTES! sorry no booyakasha here…let’s keep it old school. 🙂
Happy 3rd Birthday Evan! It’s great to see friends and watch their kids grow. Well, this party was full of color and amazement thanks to mom. There was cake, there was bounce time, piñata time and then it was all topped off by a little sidewalk chalk art from the artist formerly known as Daddy-O, j/k, but yeah his dad did do some Pocoyo chalk drawing. 🙂 It was a great and colorful, fun time!

It’s nice to just see a kid in action, doing what they love to do, playing, running, chasing, just plain ol’ having fun. That’s what I got to do when I came to take Britt’s photos. These photos are more of a representation of catching him in the moment and being able to look back at the things that he enjoyed doing as he turned the wee little age of 3. Happy 3rd Birthday Britt!
The day of Leanna’s 2nd Birthday party came and went, just like that, in the blink of an eye! I can’t believe she is already 2. What a great day spent with our little girl. She was so excited for her Minnie and Mickey themed birthday party. The planning and preparation was well worth it just to see her face light up. Now I hope this year goes a little slower so that it doesn’t feel as though she is growing too quickly and that way I can spend these precious moments with her. ‘Til the next party!
Another referral, and boy was I happy! This young boy was so great and his mom and sister were also fabulous. A wonderful event was approaching and they just wanted to capture some memories of this time in his life. We set out for a walk and took some photos along the way, we also stopped to get some photos with Robbie and his sister Jess, what a good looking pair of siblings. At the end, a quick snapshot with mom was well worth it. What a great family. Congratulations on your First Communion Robbie!
